Baseball Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science Takes a Loss

Carver High School of Engineering & Science was the 8-0 winner over Philadelphia Academy Charter when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Carver High School of Engineering & Science fell just short of Philadelphia Academy Charter by a score of 7-6 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Carver High School of Engineering & Science has lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Carver High School of Engineering & Science and nudges their season record down to 2-7. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Philadelphia Academy Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
