Baseball Recap: Groton School Takes a Loss

Groton School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Groton School has suffered against Buckingham Browne & Nichols since May 10, 2017.

Groton School's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Buckingham Browne & Nichols, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Groton School will face off against rival Tabor Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Buckingham Browne & Nichols is set to challenge their familiar foe Middlesex at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
