 Canyon Crest Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They lost  15-1 to the Sage Creek Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Canyon Crest Academy of the  13-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April.
 Canyon Crest Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Grace Yao, who  went 2-for-2 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 On Sage Creek's side,  Kassidy King was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. King was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base.
 In other batting news,  Kaimana Coleman was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Naomi Shetula, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Canyon Crest Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Sage Creek, they pushed their record up to 17-8 with that  win, which was their seventh straight  on the road.
 Canyon Crest Academy will  challenge Vista at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Canyon Crest Academy is facing Vista at the right time seeing as Vista is stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak. As for Sage Creek, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Oceanside at 4:00  a.m. Both teams will come into the  contest having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
