Basketball Recap: Wilkinson County Takes a Loss

Wilkinson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Jefferson County Tigers and fell 65-30. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-11.

Despite the loss, Wilkinson County still got an impressive performance from Jayden ?Duk? Dunbar, who posted nine points.

Wilkinson County's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Jefferson County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Wilkinson County is taking a road trip to challenge Natchez at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson County, they will be home for the holidays to greet Loyd Star at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
