The biggest upset of the week belonged to North Medford, who took down 52nd ranked Grants Pass, 28-21.

South Eugene fell to Sheldon 49-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ray Roundtree was a bright spot for the Axemen, as he threw for 167 yards in the loss.

Thurston's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brendin Quinn threw for 337 yards and Carson Cook had 149 yards receiving. On the ground Roy Jackson chipped in 94 yards. Johnny Contreras helped Thurston's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 63 yards.

The Irish led 6A Special District 1 in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on South Eugene.
