Verrado has gone 7-2 against Independence recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vipers will square off against the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. Verrado will be strutting in after a win while Independence will be coming in after a defeat.

Verrado took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Washington 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Verrado took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Independence suffered their biggest loss since April 30, 2024 on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Desert Edge. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Scorpions: they've now lost six in a row.

Verrado's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 14-13.

Verrado beat Independence 3-1 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vipers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
