Softball Game Preview: Westover Wolverines vs. Triton Hawks

For the second straight game, Westover will face off against Triton. Westover will welcome Triton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Westover comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Westover fell victim to Triton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Hawks.

For Triton's part, they got a big performance out of Shelby Mclamb, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Berkley Campbell, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Triton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .880. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Triton pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Westover, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
