Game recap: Troy High School Football Team defeats Marlin

TROY, Texas - Troy (Texas) beat Marlin (Texas), 42-21.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Kyle Whitley in the second quarter, the Trojans led 28-7 at the half.

Troy expanded its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. THS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run.

The Trojans avenged last year's 40-27 loss to the Bulldogs with the victory.

The loss was the fourth in a row for Marlin.
