Stoney Creek waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 35-32 victory over the Rochester Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cougars have posted since January 31st.

Stoney Creek's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points on average over those games. As for Rochester, the loss snapped their winning streak at 18 games and leaves them with a 19-4 record.

Looking ahead, Stoney Creek will take on Utica Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rochester does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
