Madison won the last time they faced Mitchell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mountaineers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Madison never let Mitchell on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-19.

The win got Madison back to even at 7-7. As for Mitchell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will venture away from home to face off against Asheville School (Independent) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mitchell, they will challenge Avery County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
