Basketball Recap: Creed Lopez Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Applewood Christian

Training Center Christian won the last time they faced Applewood Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. Training Center Christian snuck past Applewood Christian with a 56-50 win.

Training Center Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Creed Lopez, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 18 boards. The contest was Lopez's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bryce Bryan, who posted 15 points in addition to eight boards and six steals.

Training Center Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Applewood Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Training Center Christian will welcome Heartland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Applewood Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Lighthouse Prep Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
