Basketball Recap: Curmiya Tillman Key Part of a Team Effort in Wolves Win

Lincolnton's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the West Caldwell Warriors 53-31. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 38-29 back in January.

Lincolnton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Curmiya Tillman, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Nyla Johnson, who had 13 points.

Lincolnton's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for West Caldwell, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Lincolnton will challenge East Burke at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Burke knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Lincolnton likes a good challenge. As for West Caldwell, they will host West Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. West Caldwell is facing West Lincoln at the right time seeing as West Lincoln is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
