Soccer Game Preview: Millikan vs. Los Alamitos

The Millikan Rams and the Los Alamitos Griffins will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Millikan's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Los Alamitos' offense will have their work cut out for them.

Millikan is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let South East onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Monday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Los Alamitos has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They and Godinez Fundamental finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Griffins as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory was the third in a row for Millikan, bringing their record for this year to 14-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three matches. Los Alamitos' draw makes their record 0-6-4 this season.

Millikan beat Los Alamitos 3-1 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Does Millikan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Los Alamitos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
