Glacier Peak faced North Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 1-0. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emma Hirshorn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

Glacier Peak's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for North Creek, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-4.
