Minor's loss ends five-game winning streak at home

Recap: Minor Tigers vs. Jasper Vikings
The Minor Tigers lost against the Jasper Vikings last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Minor took a 45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jasper. It was the first time this season that Minor let down their fans at home.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaiah Mcclain, who scored 15 points. Mcclain hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Timothy Banks, who scored five points along with three steals.
Minor's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3. As for Jasper, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
Minor will head out on the road to face off against Fultondale at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Jasper will be home for the holidays to greet Florence at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Florence's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests.
