Volleyball Recap: Deuel Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tiospa Zina last Thursday, Deuel came back down to earth. The Cardinals came up short against the Elkton/Lake Benton Elks on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their loss to the Elks from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-16.

Deuel's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Elkton/Lake Benton, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-13.

Deuel has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Groton on the 16th. As for Elkton/Lake Benton, they will venture away from home to take on St. Mary at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
