Volleyball Recap: Gridley Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Gridley had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Corning Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Gridley was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-18, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Rebecca Solis, who had 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave her a new career-high.

Gridley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive contests.

When it comes to explaining why Corning lost, don't look at Alexis Jimenez. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and three assists. Brystal McClelland also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Gridley's record now sits at 21-10. As for Corning, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-16.
