Houston Klug leads a balanced attack to beat Grants Pass

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the North Medford Black Tornado ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past Grants Pass 63-60. The victory was familiar territory for North Medford who now have three in a row.

North Medford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Houston Klug, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Klug is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Rohan Aulakh, who scored 17 points.

North Medford's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Grants Pass, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

North Medford will head out on the road to square off against Sheldon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Medford knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Sheldon likes a good challenge. As for Grants Pass, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against South Eugene at 6:45 p.m. One thing working in South Eugene's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 14 games.
