Soccer Game Preview: Redlands vs. Redlands East Valley

Redlands hasn't had much luck against Redlands East Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Redlands Terriers will venture away from home to challenge the Redlands East Valley Wildcats at 5:30 p.m.

Redlands is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Thursday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Beaumont. While losing is never fun, the Terriers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1018th, while the Cougars are ranked 369th).

Nathan Bora wasn't going to let Beaumont walk away unscathed as he scored both of Redlands' goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Meanwhile, Redlands East Valley kept a clean sheet against Citrus Valley on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Blackhawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Redlands East Valley has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-4 record this season. As for Redlands, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14-1.

Redlands might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Redlands East Valley in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Redlands avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
