Basketball Recap: Booker T. Washington Takes a Loss

Booker T. Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 115-13 loss at the hands of the Northwestern Bulls. The match marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Dwight Carter was his usual excellent self, going 9 of 13 en route to 23 points along with five assists and five steals for Northwestern. Those five steals gave Carter a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Navarrete, who went 7 of 13 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points.

Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Northwestern, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

When Booker T. Washington and Northwestern next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Booker T. Washington will try to stop North Miami's ten-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northwestern will try to stop Central's 11-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
