Baseball Recap: Haddon Township Comes Up Short

Haddon Township was the 2-1 winner over King's Christian when they last played one another back in May of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell just short of the Knights by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday.

Haddon Township has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for King's Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haddon Township will face off against Gateway Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Gators have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.33 runs per game on average), something the Hawks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for King's Christian, they will challenge Gloucester County Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
