Poudre Community Academy came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Ascent Classical Academy, but Ty Colberg wouldn't allow it. The Ascent Classical Academy Guardians came out on top against the Poudre Community Academy Warriors by a score of 52-39 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Colberg, who to rack up 20 points in addition to six boards and five steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Hutchins, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Heilan Barrick and Kevin Swanson certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Barrick posted 20 points along with six boards and three steals, while Swanson scored three points in addition to eight steals and seven rebounds. The contest was Barrick's sixth in a row with at least 15 points.

Ascent Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Poudre Community Academy, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Ascent Classical Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-27 loss against Two Roads Charter School on the 22nd. As for Poudre Community Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 57-49 victory against Nederland on the 22nd.
