Softball Game Preview: Grayson County Cougars vs. Hart County Raiders

The Grayson County Cougars will venture away from home to face off against the Hart County Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Grayson County is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Grayson County didn't have quite enough to beat Butler County and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Hart County's offense. They lost 10-0 to Russell County on Friday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Lakers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Grayson County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hart County, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Grayson County beat Hart County 4-0 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grayson County since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
