Basketball Game Preview: Jay Mustangs vs. Harlandale Indians

The Jay Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Harlandale Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Jay will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Jay slipped by MacArthur 46-45.

Meanwhile, Harlandale was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 59-55 to Southwest. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jay has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Harlandale, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Jay strolled past Harlandale in their previous meeting back in December of 2015 by a score of 67-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jay since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
