If Palmer wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Giltner, they should've done a better job of containing Avery Reeson. The Hornets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tigers on Saturday with plenty of help from Reeson, who had 22 assists and six digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Giltner never let Palmer on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22.

Giltner's record now sits at 10-11. As for Palmer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-16.

Coincidentally, Giltner and Palmer will both be playing Elba the next time they take the court. The Hornets will head out to face the Bluejays at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will head out to face them on Tuesday.
