Basketball Recap: Mound City Starts Season with Loss at Home

Mound City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Plattsburg Tigers on Monday, falling 66-43. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mound City won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Stanberry at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plattsburg, they will head out to square off against Wellington-Napoleon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
