Softball Recap: Bonners Ferry Comes Up Short

Bonners Ferry made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Sandpoint, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Badgers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 8-6 on Tuesday. The Badgers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Hannah Frago was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryelle Short, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Bonners Ferry's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Sandpoint, their win ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Bonners Ferry by a score of 13-3 later that day.
