After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Dauphin, Wilson was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They skirted past the Fleetwood Tigers 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wilson's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tim Lengle, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Wilson has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Fleetwood, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
