Football Game Preview: St. Francis DeSales Stallions vs. Harrison Wildcats

The St. Francis DeSales Stallions will head out to face off against the Harrison Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

St. Francis DeSales is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past St. Charles to the tune of 42-14 on Friday. The Stallions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, while Harrison put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Talawanda. The Wildcats strolled past the Brave with points to spare, taking the game 14-0. The 14-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Harrison has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.3 points on average over those games. As for St. Francis DeSales, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

St. Francis DeSales was taken down by Harrison 42-7 in their previous matchup back in November of 2019. Can the Stallions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
