Salisbury School is a perfect 7-0 against Wilbraham & Monson Academy since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Crimson Knights will square off against the Titans at 3:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Salisbury School has three straight wins, Wilbraham & Monson Academy has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Salisbury School got the win against Berkshire School by a conclusive 14-2. The Crimson Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Matt Chirumbolo tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, Michael Fiatarone was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Traylor, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Salisbury School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Wilbraham & Monson Academy fell victim to Suffield Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 27-0 to the Tigers.

Salisbury School pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Wilbraham & Monson Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Salisbury School skirted past Wilbraham & Monson Academy 9-8 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crimson Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
