Basketball Game Preview: Highline Pirates vs. Evergreen Wolverines

Having just played yesterday, the Highline Pirates will get right back to it and host the Evergreen Wolverines at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Monday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Highline beat Kent-Meridian 56-50.

Meanwhile, Evergreen came up short against Decatur on Friday and fell 74-66. The Wolverines have struggled against the Golden Gators recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Highline's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Evergreen, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Highline took their victory against Evergreen when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 65-41. In that game, Highline amassed a halftime lead of 40-19, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
