Football Recap: Lincoln-Sudbury Takes a Loss

After flying high against Concord-Carlisle last Friday, Lincoln-Sudbury came back down to earth. The Warriors had to suffer through a 67-16 loss at the hands of the Waltham Hawks. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Warriors came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Hawks are ranked 199th).

Lincoln-Sudbury's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Waltham, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Lincoln-Sudbury will challenge Wayland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waltham, they will face off against Bedford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
