Basketball Recap: Rae Heidtharris Key Part of a Team Effort in Hurricanes Win

Coastal HomeSchool posted their biggest win since December 18, 2023 on Friday. They blew past the Bible Baptist Christian Wolves 52-27. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-44 back in January.

Coastal HomeSchool's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rae HeidtHarris, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 17 rebounds. Coastal HomeSchool is 4-2 when HeidtHarris posts ten or more boards, but 5-14 otherwise. Annabel Sanchez was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.

Coastal HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.

Coastal HomeSchool's record now sits at 9-16. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Coming up, Coastal HomeSchool will take on Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Bible Baptist Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
