Softball Recap: Byron-Bergen Bees vs. Sodus Spartans
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Byron-Bergen walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Sodus Spartans with a sharp 23-8 win on Friday. The Bees might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.
Natalie Prinzi was incredible, getting on base in three of her six plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Janessa Amesbury, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.
