Calvert entered their tilt with Van Buren on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Black Knights 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Senecas have posted since January 12th.

Calvert's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Van Buren, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

Coming up, Calvert will head out to square off against Lakota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Van Buren, they will host Elmwood at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
