Soccer Recap: South Point Takes a Loss

South Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ironton Fighting Tigers. South Point were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ironton apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

South Point's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ironton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, South Point and Ironton will both be playing Chesapeake the next time they take the pitch. The Pointers will head out to face the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Fighting Tigers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 4th.
