Pinelands Regional strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They had just enough and edged out the New Egypt Warriors 6-4.

Elianna Meola spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Jozlyn Peterson was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Audra Daniel, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Pinelands Regional pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinelands Regional will take on Manasquan at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Egypt, they will head out to face off against Howell at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
