Basketball Recap: Oak Hill Academy White Takes a Loss

The Oak Hill Academy White Warriors came up short against the Winston Salem Christian Silver Lions on Tuesday and fell 54-41. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Oak Hill Academy White saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaylen Ferrigno posted 18 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kellen Davis, who earned eight points and five boards.

Pedro Otero had a dynamite game For Winston Salem Christian Silver., putting up eight points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. Another player making a difference was Ainas Saltis, who had seven points and seven boards.

Oak Hill Academy White now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Winston Salem Christian Silver, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
