Softball Recap: Reseda Has No Trouble Against Canoga Park

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Hollywood, Reseda was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Canoga Park Hunters with a sharp 22-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Regents, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Fuentes Thereze was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four stolen bases, and four runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jhoana Moreno, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.

Reseda has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Canoga Park, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

As of now, neither Reseda nor the Hunters have any future games scheduled.
