Basketball Recap: Powhatan Falls to Clover Hill in First Game of Season

Powhatan kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 74-48 to the Clover Hill Cavaliers. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 54-48 to the Cavaliers when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Powhatan will challenge rival L.C. Bird at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Clover Hill is set to face off against their familiar foe Cosby at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
