Basketball Game Preview: Hermiston Bulldogs vs. Kamiakin Braves

Hermiston is 1-9 against Kamiakin since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Hermiston Bulldogs will square off against the Kamiakin Braves at 5:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Saturday, Hermiston was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-53 to Walla Walla. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blue Devils 16-8 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Kamiakin suffered their closest loss since February 15, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Walla Walla by a score of 54-51.

Hermiston now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Kamiakin, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Hermiston came up short against Kamiakin when the teams last played back in January, falling 63-50. Can Hermiston avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
