Basketball Recap: Springfield Renaissance Extends Winning Streak to 22

Springfield Renaissance put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Lenox Memorial Millionaires by a score of 48-41. Springfield Renaissance has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Lenox Memorial, too.

Leading Springfield Renaissance to victory were Sy'Nye Baker and Zi'Yan Wallace. Baker posted 15 points along with seven boards and four steals, while Wallace dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Wallace's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Springfield Renaissance pushed their record up to 22-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points over those games. As for Lenox Memorial, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-1.

As of now, neither Springfield Renaissance nor Lenox Memorial have any future games scheduled.
