Volleyball Recap: St. Pius X Comes Up Short

After flying high against Waltrip last Tuesday, St. Pius X came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Providence Classical Paladins on Friday. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Paladins when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Pius X's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Providence Classical, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Looking ahead, St. Pius X will venture away from home to challenge Frassati Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Providence Classical, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Incarnate Word Academy on the 22nd.
