Olympia hasn't had much luck against East Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Titans will face off against the Knights at 6:30 p.m. Olympia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
Olympia will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating West Orange, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Titans walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Warriors on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Makenna Rossi spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and six unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Sasha Do was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Richelle Ruiz was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3.
Do wasn't the only one making solid contact: Olympia kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The Titans are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, East Ridge beat Cornerstone Charter Academy 8-3 on Thursday.
East Ridge also got a great performance from Sariah Espada as she struck out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Veronica Peterson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Molly O'Hara, who scored two runs and stole a base.
East Ridge's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Olympia, their record now sits at 7-11.
Olympia suffered a grim 14-0 defeat to East Ridge when the teams last played back in April of 2021. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
