Recap: Hawkins Hawks vs. Fremont Pathfinders
The Hawkins Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Fremont on the road and fell 69-39. Hawkins was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-13.
Despite the loss, Hawkins still got an impressive performance from De'Meiko Crawford, who scored 21 points. Robert Stewart was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Hawkins has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Fremont, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-8.
Hawkins and Lincoln will face off at 2:30 p.m. on January 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Fremont and Dorsey will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Dorsey is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
