Football Recap: St. Charles Starts Season with Loss on the Road

St. Charles had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 17-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westminster Christian Wildcats on Friday. The Pirates lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 37-6 score last time.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Charles will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Howell North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westminster Christian, they will host Clayton/Brentwood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
