            The Alisal Trojans are taking a road trip to  square off against the King City Mustangs  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Alisal is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10  runs per game  this season.
While Alisal's  victory against Soledad wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans skirted past the Aztecs  7-6. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Aztecs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.

 Nevaeh Lopez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and three unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Micah Smith was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  stolen base. That  home run was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Aaliyah Ruiz, who  went 2-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 Alisal  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters  in three consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, King City got the win against Rancho San Juan  on Thursday by a conclusive  14-4. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six  runs or more this season.
 Alisal's victory was  their eighth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 17-5. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for King City, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record  this season.
 Everything went Alisal's way against King City when the teams last played  back in April, as Alisal made off with  a  10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
