Flag Football Recap: Mt. Eden Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mt. Eden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 14-0 bruising from the Hayward Farmers. The Monarchs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Farmers earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Mt. Eden's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hayward, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mt. Eden will head out to take on Castro Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 7.5 points per game this season, so the Monarchs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Hayward, they are taking a road trip to square off against Berkeley at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
