Softball Recap: Braham Has No Trouble Against Rush City

Braham hadn't done well against Rush City recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bombers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 9-3 victory. Considering the Bombers have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Braham and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Rush City, they moved to 5-3 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Braham will venture away from home to face off against Crosby-Ironton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rush City, they will head out to take on Hinckley-Finlayson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
