Softball Recap: Gabrielino Comes Up Short

The Gabrielino Eagles didn't have quite enough to beat the Glendale Nitros on Wednesday and fell 2-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sophia Guerrero was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one double.

Gabrielino's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Glendale, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-12-1 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gabrielino will challenge El Monte at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Glendale, they will take on Burbank at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
